As a writer, my job is to help you develop your professional image, add to your profit margin, and simplify your life. Whether you need copy for a brochure or for your blog  my work helps you  put your best foot forward.

What Can a Hired Writer Do for You?

You may not have ever hired a writer before, and you're wondering how it is I can help you with your specific situation. There are many reasons why you might hire a writer to do work for you - not having writing skills is actually one of the least common reasons my clients hire me. Clients sometimes have ideas for blogs, for articles, or  books, but they lack the time to create these materials. This service is called "ghostwriting*."

Other times, a client is changing a career field and needs help crafting a resume and/or cover letter. Perhaps a client is an artist or musician and needs a bio for his or her website or social networking page. Other times, individuals in the arts or sciences might need funding to continue their project. I can help to write a grant or personal statement for your application.

What Can a Hired Writer Do for Your Business?

The last thing your company wants to do is to hire another staff writer - so don't do it! Hire an independent consultant instead.

As an editorial consultant, I help clients advertise, create business plans, and compile annual reports.  Direct sales copy, training guides, PowerPoint presentations, website copy, company blogs and social networking are all services I provide to a wide variety of business clients.  Did you know that one of the best ways to advertise your business or product release is through a press release? I have created these for software and magazine clients. Catalogs, speeches, white papers, e-zines, newsletters, etc. are products that a business might seek out a writer to create.

I have two years of experience writing project management and business articles at Bright Hub.  In fact, I've published more than 350 articles with them on a variety of business and technology-related topics. Do you need help drafting your project plan?  Is that risk assessment lacking the right words?  Let me help you.

What Can a Hired Writer Do for Your Non-Profit?

Non-profit organizations need quality writing too. Non-profit clients have needed grant-writing, fund-raising letters,  brochures, press releases, training manuals, and more. I work carefully with my non-profit clients to ensure that the required written product is created on time and within budget.
