It's going to be a busy week. My husband's brother and his family are in town from the East Coast. Saturday we went Cheryl Dumesnil's poetry reading from her book,
In Praise of Falling. Her poetry is beautiful, her sons are darling, and I'm amazed at the words she collects and uses for image-painting. It was a great experience.
This week I'm focusing on editing work and a few Bright Hub articles. I will be editing a dissertation, a book, and a textbook. I'm also hoping to receive more articles with
Equanimity Magazine to edit. As you have noticed, I have been participating in Poetic Asides Wednesday Prompt and Write Anything's Fiction Friday. I will do that again this week. I'm also going to edit my own story, "Landslide" and submit it by the end of this week.
Finally, since fall is around the corner, I will be reviewing my annual goals. It's the start of a new school year and I find that it's the perfect time to check in with myself on how things are progressing.
What are you working on this week? What goals have you set upon yourself for the coming months?
