The first order of business is my writing log.  Between November 16 and November 21, I wrote a total of 12,503 words on seventeen different projects.  My goal this week is to write at least 10,000 words again.

Second, I'm going to simply list projects I am currently working on and their status.
  1. Content for a website - finished the first section of articles, going to start the second (of three sections)
  2. Bright Hub - I just received a promotion to being a contributing editor in two channels - Entrepreneurship and Project Management.  I have been working on articles in those two channels as well as the Windows Channel this past month. I will continue to work on articles for the next few days.  Recently edited articles are:  Suzie Brown's Tips for Building Business Credit -and- SparkKD's Introduction to the Four Fields Mapping. In addition I have the following articles recently published on Bright Hub: Root Cause Analysis Example,  Overview of Root Cause Analysis Techniques,Benefits of the PMP Credential,When Do You Need to Use a Pareto Chart?, Capability Maturity Models - History of the CMM, and Types of Feasibility Studies. Look for more articles on Bright Hub in the coming days.
  3. Short Story collection - this is coming along slower than I had hoped.  I found out that in order to distribute the book through Ingram so that Barnes and Noble, Orinda Books, and other bookstores can shortlist it and carry it on the shelves, it will need to go through a six week distribution process after I've uploaded, then proofed the book.  This is fine, but it may change when the book is available to the public.  I'm still working on this project, but the technical side may delay things.
  4. Short story collaboration - I am still collaborating on a short story.  It's going well, and I'm very excited about this project.
  5. Editing - In addition to editing for Bright Hub now, I also edited a short paper for a client, and I will be regularly editing for a new client.
  6. Grant writing for Oakland Digital Arts and Literacy Center (http://odalc.org - they are an excellent organization, check them out).  This project is underway after filling out some basic forms. I'm working on a narrative for their applications.
  7. Co-Authoring a personality development book with Murali Chemuturi - this is coming along, I have to revise a draft of a cover letter and go through a chapter on relationships with a fine-toothed comb
  8. Co-authoring a book with a photographer - brainstorming and background market research is still in progress
It's a busy time here, but it's exciting too.  Of course, I will be taking some time off to spend Thanksgiving with family.

Happy Thanksgiving!  What are you working on this week?
