About Me

I am an independent scholar and an award-winning editorial consultant residing in Northern California. I hold an MA in philosophy from Northern Illinois University. I provide consulting services to businesses, individuals, and academics.  My work has appeared in Infinity Journal, The Early Republic and Antebellum America: An Encyclopedia of Social, Political, Cultural, and Economic History, In-Spire Journal of Law, Politics and Societies and Urban Mainstream Magazine. Many of my articles deal with productivity, time management, financial security, project management, political theory, successful living, charitable giving, and living a secure lifestyle.

I served on various committees dedicated to bettering the quality of life of college students and graduate students.  Additionally, as a graduate teaching assistant, I dedicated myself to ensuring students not only learned how to navigate the discipline of philosophy, but also learned strategic skills for navigating life successfully.  Because of this, I offer academic coaching services to those students wishing to improve their scholastic achievement.  

I am senior editor and a writer for Equanimity Magazine, a magazine focused on balancing lifestyles and living life to its fullest. I interviewed Mark Victor Hansen, author of and Chicken Soup for the Soul, for the magazine.  Additionally, I have interviewed Michelle May and Dr. Raj. Articles for the magazine have varied from a health focus to tips on maintaining life balance.

I am a senior writer and contributing editor for Bright Hub, an internet website dedicated to enriching professionals and individuals alike in their quest for personal development, for two years, also editing the work of fellow authors on the website.  I have written over 700 articles, brochures, press releases, and grants on a wide range of subjects for a variety of clients.  If editing projects are added in, that number tops 1,200.
